Our Space
Our Space
Our space is bright and beautiful with the historic charm of exposed brick and beam. Our floor is sturdy and sustainable bamboo. We are also in the hub of creativity downtown with Benjamin Edwards Photography, Kecia Kubuta, and LaunchPad right right next door and tbd Advertising down the hall. We are also next to Thump Coffee, Lone Pine Coffee Roasters, The Wine Shop, Tin Pan Theater, The Oxford Hotel, Zyedeco, Barrio, Boken, Common Table, and all of downtown’s incredible restaurants and shops. Your practice at Mandala can turn into a day a fun with friends! We hope that you will consider Mandala your home and those that you see at practice your friends!
A few things to know
Mandala Yoga Community is a continuously evolving Yoga studio. We want to be open to change, listen to the Flow and respond to the needs of our community. Mandala is a place of learning. You will frequently see student teachers sitting in on a class in the corner. You will occasionally see a camera tripod set up and there is a chance that a class will be recorded or taped. This is so that we can continually learn and share our experience at Mandala with others. This is, however a safe place, where we encourage everyone to be honest, but also open-minded and accepting. You will frequently see schedule changes and sometimes a band will begin playing across the hall during savasana! Sometimes, people will be setting up for an event and sometimes people will get enthusiastic in the hall. Life is full of possibilities! And, tbd loft is an active and creative place. Everyone at Mandala is encouraged to find peace within and to tap into the inner strength that is within each of us as we humbly learn together. We hope that you enjoy the ride!
We understand and accept that everyone has different life rhythms around time and each body is different; Please do your best to arrive 5-10 min before the start of your class, come with a clean – body, mind, & spirit, and with an empty stomach.
