Samanthea was born in Texas. Since her first yoga classes in 1995, she has practiced and studied many well-known styles of yoga, Hatha, Power Vinyasa-Astanga, and Anusara. Also, she has studied with many top Tantrik scholars in philosophy and meditation, and trained as a teacher in non-violent communication. She traveled to India in 2010. Her style is a combination of vinyasa and hatha yoga that integrates bio-mechanical principles of alignment, the art of inner awareness and a celebration of the heart.

Yoga has shown her how to fill her heart, mind, and soul with light and stillness. Life is both beautiful and full of challenges, and being able to help her students navigate their own personal journeys brings her immense joy and fulfillment. Samanthea’s classes emphasize clear alignment principles and challenge students to safely move deeper into the physical practice while connecting fully with their hearts’ truth. Samanthea has completed yoga therapeutic’s training’s with John Friend and teaches therapeutic alignment of Anusara® yoga to help students heal from injury, chronic pain, and discover greater freedom. Students find Samanthea’s teaching invigorating, nurturing, and appreciate her balance of lightheartedness, enthusiasm and wisdom. As a teacher, Samanthea is dedicated to helping students get a revelation of their own divine nature and to taste the bliss of their hearts. The practices of Yoga help us become aware of our connection to the Universal Spirit and realize that every moment is a chance to remember and honor this.
Samanthea is also a mom of 3 beautiful children, two cats and two dogs, loves to go out on long hikes, and hang out at home.
