Haramara Retreat Sayulita, Mexico
with Kat Seltzer & friends
May 26-June 2, 2012

Haramara Retreat is a secluded and idyllic place designed to provide a natural and supportive environment for relaxation, renewal, and well being. Haramara Retreat is located in the coastal region of the state of Nayarit, Mexico (known as Riviera Nayarit) near the town of Sayulita. It is located on 12 acres of private land between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Nestled into the tropical jungle vegetation on a hillside, it overlooks the wild and rugged coast of the Pacific Ocean and its own pristine unspoiled beach. info: haramaretreat.com

A Huichol word, haramara means “mother sea,” the place where everything comes from. With its warms, family-like atmosphere and fresh gourmet cuisines, this gracious retreat center does feel like the source of something sacred. “You’re taken care of the moment you arrive.” The yoga space is an open-air, thatched palapa with a 360-degree view of the ocean and rainforest. Guests stay in simple but beautiful palm-thatched casitas, with open-air walls on the three sides that invite in the ocean breeze and the sounds of pounding surf. Charming bathrooms, oil lamps, and canopy beds with handmade quilts complete the look – a blend of rustic and elegant .. described as Robinson Crusoe meets Architectural Digest. – Yoga Journal November 2010

Cost: $1875 (double) $1775 (triple) $1575 (dorm) (*everything except airfare is included: yoga, accommodations, taxes, Suylalita is 40 miles from Puerta Vallarta airport.)
$500 deposit deadline is Jan 30, 2012
