Living Yoga Teacher Training
200hr Yoga Alliance Certification 
April – September/October

Exploring the practice and teaching of yoga as full body healing, transformation and as a sacred education of embodied living with emphasis on the evolutionary-edge of the vinyasa style.  

This training is for dedicated students and dedicated students inspired to explore a teaching path. Though all participants of this program will complete Yoga Alliance requirements at the 200 hour level; those dedicated students who are sincerely inspired to teach will be asked to complete extra requirements. These requirements are to be completed during the month immediately after the official end of the program and will count towards 500 hour certification. The decision to participate in the “Inspired Student-Teacher Path” must be determined by the 4th month of the program.

director 
Kat Seltzer, 
is the director of Mandala Yoga Community and director of MYC’s fledgling Living Yoga 200hr Yoga Alliance School. Kat was drawn to the beauty of yoga in 2000 and has been a dedicated and passionate teacher since 2006. Kat is inspired by and convinced of yoga’s profound ability to transform lives. Her approach to yoga is creative, authentic, and joyful with a deep respect for it’s spiritual elements. It is her intention to share the tradition of yoga infused with a principles of self-understanding and discovering one’s purpose so as to be of service in the world.

Anusara® Yoga immersions are in-depth study courses for enthusiastic and dedicated students of yoga, yoga teachers, and teachers-in-training alike. Participating in this training will open your body, mind, and heart to new levels of expansive delight. We will engage in intensive study of Anusara’s life-affirming Tantric philosophy and transformational Universal Principles of Alignment. You will progress and take your asana practice to the next level, learn about yoga history, meditation, Anusara®Yoga therapeutics, anatomy, and pranayama. Together we will create a supportive environment with no pressure or expectation of having to teach. The pure joy of delving deeply into this beautiful tradition and sharing the path together will be our focus.

If your wish is to teach, completing the full 100-hour immersion series will provide the required knowledge and credit hours for participating in an Anusara® Yoga teachers training (pending application approval).

Kat Seltzer, was drawn to the beauty of yoga in 2000 and has been a dedicated practitioner since 2004 and teacher since 2006. She has studied with national/world acclaimed teachers, Simon Park, Kristin Cooper-Gulak, Amy Impolotti, Todd Norian, Erich Schiftman, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Hala Kouri, Suzanne Sterling, and John Friend. She is convinced of yoga’s profound ability to transform lives. Kat is the creative catalyst behind m y c | yoga and serves as director.

    Do you have more info on the Nicaragua retreat (i.e. costs, where to fly into, etc.?) You never know…I might be able to put the intention out there and invite the funds to arrive into my life so that I can join you. You never know…Stranger things have happened…
