Jamie Charlesworth
Jamie has been teaching for two years and stays constantly inspired by remaining a dedicated student. She bas been practicing yoga for twelve years and every time she steps onto her mat, she has an “awe”-ha moment, and this is the reason she decided to start teaching. Practicing yoga doesn’t stop when the class is over, for Jamie, it has become a lifetime practice that she wishes to experience with the students in her classes. Jamie’s desire is to offer a class that provides inspiration and also an opportunity to develop strength and flexibility.
Yoga brings us back into our body, a place that sometimes feels abandoned and tight. When we develop a sense of presence, dropping the day and coming back to the sensations in the body, we begin to notice where we hold onto our stress. The journey continues as we learn how to let go of the tension with the secrets of yoga: observation, breath, and compassion. By integrating these key aspects into our asana practice, we start to remove stagnation from the body. Tension and stress (blocked energy) begin to dissolve, and we ultimately become more flexible and energized! The healing powers of yoga seep into every crack in the body, and eventually into every experience in our lives… no matter what brought each of us to our mat in the first place. It’s Jamie’s greatest joy to share this yoga bliss.
