Ulla Lundgren ERYT 500

Ulla Lundgren is an ERYT 500, certified yoga teacher and a native of Sweden. She started practicing yoga asana in 1989 and completed her first yoga teachers training in 1995. Ulla is the founder of The Yoga Experience, a thriving Yoga studio in Flagstaff AZ. In the fall of 2001 Ulla started studying Anusara Yoga and became certified in Anusara in 2005. She teaches weekly classes in Bend OR as well as workshops, immersions, and teacher’s trainings in the U.S. and sometimes abroad Some of Ulla’s most influential yoga teacher have been, Erich Schiffman, Ashtanga Vinyasa teachers Tim Miller, David Swenson and Anusara trained teachers Sianna Sherman, Noah Maze, Naime Jezzeny, Jamie Allison and John Friend. She also passionately studies yoga philosophy with her teachers Dr. Douglas Brooks and Christopher (Hareesh) Wallis. Douglas is one of the world’s foremost scholars of Hindu Tantrism and the esoteric traditions of the Goddess. Hareesh is a Sanskrit Scholar, teacher of Non Dual- Shaiva Tantra and head faculty of The Mattamayura Institute. Her style of teaching blends fun, adventure, and mindful attention – not only to physical alignment but also to alignment with one’s essence, inner intensions, and hopes for living a truly meaningful life. Ulla’s students describe her as having, a down to earth sense of humor, skill in bio-mechanical alignment instruction and a strong intuitive ability to speak to their hearts.
